After completion of the group stages, Turkey have lost the chance of qualifying for the last 16 in EURO 2016. Although, Turkey finished the Group D in the third place, they couldn't be one of the four best third-place teams.

France, Switzerland, Wales, England, Slovakia, Germany, Poland, Northern Ireland, Croatia, Spain, Belgium, Italy, Republic of Ireland, Hungary, Iceland and Portugal qualify to the round of last 16 after finishing their groups in the top two or as one of the four best third-place.
