Bafetimbi Gomis supports Turkeys UEFA EURO 2024 Candidacy

Bafetimbi Gomis, Galatasaray's football star who ranked as the top scorer of the league after scoring 29 goals in 33 matches in addition to breaking the record as the foreign player scoring most goals in a season, told that Turkey has the capability to organize UEFA EURO 2024 successfully.

As the French footballer extended his full support for Turkey's candidacy to host 2024 European Football Championship, he shared his impressions about Turkish people and said "Turkey is an incredible country and I enjoy living here. My family and I easily adapted to the country. People are very friendly, hospitable and respectful."

Turkey has built 37 modern stadiums through an investment of € 3 billion since 2011. Two more stadiums will be rebuilt for UEFA EURO 2024. Gomis defined the new stadiums in which he kicked goals to become the top scorer of the season as "Magnificent" and said "The government continues to work diligently. They built magnificent stadiums with a well-designed infrastructure. I am sure the stadiums will be full if UEFA EURO 2024 is organized in Turkey."


Bafetimbi Gomis gave the following hints as to a European Football Championship to be organized in Turkey: "Tourists and football fans will be happy to attend such an organization in Turkey. Turkey has the experience and capability to undertake such an important organization. You will experience an unprecedented ambiance here."
