It has become a necessity to make a statement following the allegations regarding the friendly match played on Thursday, January 18th between Austria's SK Rapid Wien and Czechia's 1. FC Slovacko clubs, who were in camp in Belek, Antalya.

No application for any authorization has been made to Turkish Football Federation ("TFF") from any of the participating clubs or the member associations, which the clubs affiliated, regarding the friendly match held in Turkey.

This match was played without the knowledge of TFF, since no application was made to TFF from the relevant member associations or any of the participating clubs.

Therefore, TFF has not appointed a referee for the match due to the lack of "approved friendly match status" since this match is outside the scope of FIFA Regulations Governing International Matches.

After the investigation, it is found out that the person who officiated the match does not have a valid referee license and therefore is not actively refereeing within TFF.

Legal process has been initiated regarding the match.
