Our Women's Senior National Team Head Coach Necla Güngör Kıragası took part in 5th UEFA Women's National Team Coaches and Head Coaches Conference, where UEFA Women's EURO 2025 was comprehensively reviewed. The meeting, held in Zurich, Switzerland, on September 30 - October 1, 2025, featured the presentation of technical and statistical data from UEFA Women's EURO 2025.

At the opening of the conference, UEFA Deputy General Secretary Giorgio Marchetti, Swiss Football Association General Secretary Robert Breiter, and UEFA Managing Director of Women's Football Nadine Kessler provided information about the tournament organization.

During the event, tournament data and technical analyses were examined in detail. The meeting highlighted that teams covered more distance when out of possession, the pressing and counter-pressing strategies became increasingly widespread, and the pace of transitions from defense to attack proved decisive.

It was underlined that women's football has now reached the highest level in terms of technical, tactical, and physical aspects, with the progress of players competing in professional leagues strongly reflected in the tournament. It was also projected that the tempo of the game will continue to rise in the coming years.

Kıragası: "The statistics reveal significant progress"

In her post-conference remarks, our Women's Senior National Team Head Coach Necla Güngör Kıragası emphasized the advancement of women's football, stating:

"Over the past three years, we have witnessed remarkable progress in women's football across Europe. Even our UEFA Nations League B opponents such as Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Slovenia are striving to improve by directing their players toward top-level leagues. For a sustainable women's football ecosystem, all stakeholders must act together. In the next three years, investments in women's football across Europe will increase even further. I sincerely hope that we, as Türkiye, will also take our share from this great development."
