U19 National Team beat Portugal in the Elite Round of U19 European Championship and won the group to participate the tournament to be hosted by Ukraine. Municipal Stadium of Cartaxo was the venue of the match. Sercan Yıldırım, Fatih Serkan Kurtuluş, Onur Ayık and Tunay Torun were the scorers of the game.

Turkish National Team won all the matches in the group beating Greece 2-1 and Denmark 1-0 in the first two matches.

In the other match of the group Denmark beat Greece 1-0. After these results Portugal were second, Denmark 3rd and Greece 4th in the group.

U19 European Championship Finals will be hosted by Ukraine  between 21 July and 2 August. Along with hosts Ukraine and our National Team, Serbia, France and Spain are the other qualifiers for the final tournament.
