TFF's Ordinary Meeting of General Assembly and elections was held today in Sheraton Hotel, Ankara. After the assembly, Mehmet Ali Aydınlar has been selected as the new president of Turkish Football Federation. Aydınlar received 201 votes fr0m 237 delegates. After the elections, TFF's new president thanked to all General Assembly members and invite the new executive committee members of TFF to the stand.

Aydınlar, who was born in 1954, Arapgir, Malatya started his public accountant career in 1981. Then, in 1993 he started to appear in health sector with Acıbadem Hospitals which are owned by him. Aydınlar, took his honorary Phd fr0m Dumlupınar University, Institute of Social Sciences and last year, he was awarded Outstanding Service Prize from Turkish Grand National Assembly.
Mehmet Ali Aydınlar is the owner and board of trustee president of Acıbadem Health Group now.
Aydınlar was also an executive committee member under Hasan Doğan's and Mahmut Özgener's presidency who are the two former presidents of TFF. Besides, Mehmet Ali Aydınlar was the executive committee member of Fenerbahçe Sports Club in the past.

Mahmut Özgener who is the former president of TFF and announced he is not stand for re-election several days ago, made a speech in the beginning of the assembly also. ''During our period, we tried to solve the problems of Turkish football by mid and long term projects. This year, the income of TFF reached to 245 million TL which we took this budget with 124 million TL three years ago. Especially, we provided  a huge monetary supply to our clubs by the increase of the broadcasting rights in the bid. We renewed the successful contracts with our sponsors.  We also started the project of structual transformation in all categories of national teams under the leadership of Guss Hiddink who is Turkish Senior National Team coach. Besides, we were gained the players into the Turkish national teams who grew up in abroad and have also Turkish citizenship. We also gave importance to lower leagues as much as Spor Toto Super League. Turkey took the organization of FIFA 2013 U20 World Cup under our term.'' Özgener said and lastly added ''I want to say goodbye with the pride to serve Turkish football.  I  thank to all TFF General Assembly members for giving me the chance of the most meaningful and happy years of my life.''
