After joined of Grassroots Charter in 2007, TFF became one the fastest developed member countries with 5 stars gained in 4 years.

Turkish Football Federation had organized many tournaments and activities in different categories in different regions along with the support of Ülker, the main sponsor of Grassroots''Football For Everyone'' programme.

Football for Everyone (Grassroots) licences have been introduced in 2009 in order to register the participants and the number of licences has increased up to 315.000 since then. The programme reached the third star membership thanks to projects had been developed for children and for people with disabilities.

2011 has started with the aim of fourth star. The projects were evaluated by the UEFA Grassroots Panel Member Willie Hink who came to Istanbul in August 2011. After the evaluation of Football for Everyone awarded with two additional stars for women and girls participation and promotion and growth.

Furthermore, Grassroots magazine published in order to promote Grassroots activities, Grassroots Day events, Ülker Football For Everyone Photography Contest, World Women's Day events all are appreciated by UEFA.

President Aydınlar: "We are proud by five star success"

TFF President Mehmet Ali Aydınlar noted that the achievement that Football for Everyone in 4 years is honourable. Aydınlar said: "This program which had its membership upgraded to five star, is trying to make it possible for anyone who wants to play football and especially to teach them the spirit of Fair-Play. We are very pleased that the number of girls and women playing football is increasing while we are encouraging them to be a part of the football community. Football for Everyone Program is one of the important parts of the beautiful game andits success of is giving hope for the future."

Tolunay Kafkas: "Thank you everyone who is part of this"

The TFF's Football Development Director Tolunay Kafkas says "We thank to everyone who work on previous projects. The most comprehensive star of the Grassroots Charter is sixth star. Because of that, we need continue working on these projects more and more. We restructured our organizational chart according to this. The base of the sixth star is building a system which enables to constant growth in children football. This is very important in order to achieve international success in the future of our football and to raise healthy generations. Being upgraded to sixth and seventh star membership is important to maintain the sustainability of these works. Our aim increase the number people who play football especially kids"

Zuhal Şeker "We invest on the children who are the future of Turkish sport"

Yıldız Holding Corporate Communications General Manager Zuhal Şeker indicates that as the company they are targeting to create difference in the lives of the kids and to contribute children's physical and cultural development.
