A National Team lost 1-0 against Greece in a decisive Euro 2008 qualifier match played in Ali Sami Yen Stadium of İstanbul. Amanatidis' goal in 79. minute gave Greece the ticket to Euro 2008. In the other group matches Norway beat Bosnia and Herzegovina 2-0 in Sarajevo and Moldova beat Malta 3-2 in Valetta. With this result Turkey is 2 points behind Norway who has the upper hand in the qualification race for Euro 2008. Turkey needs 6 points in the last 2 group matches on 17 and 21 November. The matches will be against Norway and Bosnia-Herzegovina respectively.
