Turkey U19 national team played two friendly matches against Rusia on 25 and 27 March in Samsun. In the first of two matches played at 19 Mayıs Stadium, the game ended in a 3-3 stalemate, while Russia overcome Turkey with a 3-1 score.

At the game on 25 March, Umut Sözen scored a double (85, 89) while Furkan Özcal completed the scoring on 90 minutes.  Alan Gaogev (8, 18) and Fedor Sualov (75) were the names on Russia's goalscoring sheet.

On 27 March's fixture, Efe Halil Özarslan scored Turkey's consolation on 46 minutes, while Abdul Fattah Basel, Dmitry Malyaka and Ilya Kukharchuk were on target for Russia.
