FIFA U-20 World Cup 2011 will start on 29 July 2011 in Colombia. After the inaugural, the opening match of the tournament between Brazil and Egypt in Barranquilla will be officiated by Cüneyt Çakır TFF's FIFA Referee. The cup will be ended on 20 August 2011.

Besides, Mr. Şenes Erzik, TFF Honourary President, UEFA Vice President, FIFA Executive Committee member and FIFA World Youth Committee member, will be the vice president of the organization committee in FIFA U-20 World Cup 2011

Mr. Erzik who will arrive Colombia after 2014 World Cup draw in Brazil said that '' This tournament is the second biggest organization of FIFA after the World Cup. Many talented youth players was shined in this tournament before. I'm very excited to watch the future stars of football at Turkey in 2013 after Colombia.''

Cüneyt Çakır, one of the six referees from UEFA in this cup, has been intived to officiate the matches. FIFA has also assigned TFF's FIFA Assistant Referees Bahattin Duran and Tarık Ongun in this tournament. Çakır and his staff will be officiated the matches which will be played in Bogota during the championship.

During the tournament; İlker Uğur, International Events Department Manager of TFF, will also work as General Coordinator Assistant of El Campin Stadium which is located in Bogota.

The FIFA U-20 World Cup 2013 will be held in Turkey that the decision had been announced by FIFA President, Sepp Blatter on March 2011.
