U19 National Team, coached by Feyyaz Uçar, defeated Ukraine 2-0 in their third and last match of UEFA 2013 U19 European Championship Elite Round Group 7 which was held in Krasnodar, Russia.
The match was played in Krasnodar Academy Stadium, Krasnodar, Russia and Turkey grabbed the win by İbrahim Yılmaz's double-strike on 38th and 76th minutes.
With this results; U19s finished the group in first place and qualified to UEFA 2013 U19 European Championship Finals which will be held in Lithuania between 20 July - 1 August.
goals came from Okay Yokuşlu (Min. 9), Hakan Çalhanoğlu (Min. 49 (P) and 71 (P), İbrahim Yılmaz (Min. 55), Salih Uçan (Min. 67) while Rozzi (Min. 27) scored the only goal of Italy.
In group's other match of the day, Italy drew 3-3 against Russia.
In the elite round, 25 qualifiers join the three top seeds given byes in seven mini-tournament groups of four. The group winners then join the hosts in the finals which will be held in Lithuania between 20 July - 1 August.
