After an evenly matched 90 minutes ending in 0-0 stamelate, Ivan Klasnic scored in 119 minute to give the Croatians the lead. Just a minute after Semih Şentürk equalised in the dying moments of the game to take the game to penalty shoot out.
Hamit, Semih, Arda scored for Turkish National Team in penalties as Srna scores the only goal for Croatia. Turkey will face Germany in the semi final which will be played on 25 June in Basel.
