Türkiye National Team completed the group stage as runners-up behind Wales in UEFA Nations League B Group 4 by losing 3-1 to Montenegro in Matchday 6. Türkiye National Team will participate to the play-off stage to be able to compete in UEFA Nations League A. The match was played at Nikšić City Stadium in Montenegro. Türkiye's goal came from Kenan Yıldız. Nikola Krstović scored the goals of Montenegro.

Minister of Youth and Sports Osman Aşkın Bak, Deputy of İzmir Mehmet Muharrem Kasapoğlu, Turkish Football Federation President İbrahim Ethem Hacıosmanoğlu and TFF Board Members followed the match from the stands.

In the other match of Group 4, Wales defeated Iceland 4-1 at home, rose on top of UEFA Nations League B Group 4 and booked their place in UEFA Nations League A. At the end of the group stage, Türkiye National Team lost the leadership and dropped back to the 2nd place. As runners-up of UEFA Nations League B Group 4, Türkiye National Team will participate to the play-off stage to be able to compete in UEFA Nations League A.

UEFA Nations League Knockout Stage and Play-Off Draws will take place in Nyon, Switzerland, from midday CET on Friday 22 November. League A/B play-offs will determine the four promotion / relegation play-off ties taking place between the third-ranked teams from League A (Scotland, Belgium, Hungary and Serbia) and the runners-up from League B (Ukraine, Greece, Austria and Türkiye). The four third-placed teams from League A are seeded and form Pot 1, with the four runners-up from League B in Pot 2. The teams from Pot 2 are drawn first, with the seeded Pot 1 teams then drawn to complete the play-off ties. The Pot 1 teams will play at home in the second legs. League A/B play-offs will take place on 20 and 23 March 2025.
