U18 National Team, coached by Hakan Tecimer, defeated Kazakhstan 3-1 in their third and last match of Valentin Granatkin Cup Group C which is held in St. Petersburg, Russia.

The match was played in Sports & Concerts Complex, St. Petersburg, Russia and Turkey's goals came from Kemal Rüzgar (Min. 38), Burak Aydin (Min. 54) and Arif Ekin (Min. 89) while, the only goal of Kazakhstan came from Dailov on 65th minute.

With this result; U18s finished Group C in the third place and will play 9-12th place classification matches.

U18 National will face Group D's third placed team in the first game of  9-12th place classification matches on 12 January 2012 Saturday at 17.00 with Turkish local time.
