U18 National Team, coached by Mehmet Hacıoğlu, lost to Japan 3-0 in the semi-final match of Valentin Granatkin Cup Group D which is held in Russia.
The match was played in Petersburgsky SCC and Japan's goals came from Kitagawa (Min. 8), Okugawa (Min. 58) and Sugimoto (Min. 90).
In the other semi-final game of the cup, Russia beat Slovakia 3-1 and qualified to final.
After these results, U18s will face Slovakia in 3rd place match of the cup while; Russia and Slovakia will meet in the final on 12 Januray 2014 Sunday.
