Hosts Turkey had big hopes of advancing into the final by using their home advantage and they took the lead on 31 minutes thanks to a strike by Abdülkadir Kayalı. France's reply to this goal came on 69th minute with Thimothee Kolodziecziak. The extra time did not bring any goals and penalty shoot-out decided the finalist.
Abdülkadir Kayalı and Yannis Tafer had each team's initial effort saved, but after Batuhan Karadeniz's penalty miss, Alexandre Lacazette made no mistake from the spot and this goal sent France to the final.

Spain reached the final at UEFA U17 Championship by producing a successful 2-1 comeback against the Netherlands.
Although the Netherlands took the lead after 34 minutes through Sneijder, Spain leveled the score on 46th minute with Pulido's strike. Substitute Angel Martinez scored the winner of his side on thr 12th minute of extra time and sent his team to the final.
