TFF President Hacıosmanoğlu Met With UEFA President Čeferin

Turkish Football Federation President İbrahim Ethem Hacıosmanoğlu, who is in Poland to follow 2024 UEFA Super Cup match, met with UEFA President Aleksander Čeferin.

TFF General Secretary Abdullah Ayaz, TFF Foreign Affairs and National Teams Executive Director Buğra Cem İmamoğulları, UEFA National Federations Director Zoran Laković and Former TFF General Secretary and UEFA Strategic Advisor Kadir Kardaş also attended the meeting held in Warsaw, the capital of Poland.

At the meeting, UEFA President Aleksander Čeferin once again congratulated İbrahim Ethem Hacıosmanoğlu, who was elected as TFF President, and wished him success in his new position. The preparations for EURO 2032, which Türkiye will co-host with Italy, 2026 UEFA Europa League Final and 2027 UEFA Conference League Final, which will also be played in Türkiye, were analyzed, projects that could be implemented in line with the cooperation of TFF and UEFA were evaluated, and the possibilities of holding new UEFA organizations in Türkiye were discussed at the meeting.

The opening of a UEFA office in Türkiye, defined as the leader of the region it is located in, was also on the agenda of the meeting. UEFA President Čeferin invited TFF President Hacıosmanoğlu to UEFA's headquarters in Nyon on September 10, and an appointment was made to meet again in Istanbul soon.

At the end of the meeting, TFF President Hacıosmanoğlu presented UEFA President Čeferin a National Team jersey with his name on it and captain Hakan Çalhanoğlu's jersey signed by the entire team, while Čeferin presented President Hacıosmanoğlu the ball that will be used in 2024 UEFA Super Cup match.
