A cooperation agreement was signed between Turkish Football Federation (TFF) and Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) ahead of 2026 FIFA World Cup European Qualifiers Group E match between the two countries' national teams.

Covering a wide range of areas such as women's football, youth national teams and football development, this cooperation agreement aims to launch joint projects that will benefit both sides through the integration of the football cultures and experiences of the two friendly nations.

Furthermore, with this agreement, it is also intended to provide mutual contributions to the preparations for EURO 2032, to be hosted by our country in partnership with Italy, and 2030 FIFA World Cup, to be organized jointly by Spain, Morocco, and Portugal.
