Atatürk Olympic Stadium is the candidate for 2020 UEFA Champions League Final

UEFA accepted the candidacy of the İstanbul Atatürk Olympic Stadium hosting for 2020 UEFA Champions League final, after evaluating applications made by the Turkish Football Federation.
 
Estadio do Sport Lisboa e Benfica (Luz Stadium) from Portugal has also been accepted as a candidate for 2020 UEFA Champions League Final with Atatürk Olympic Stadium that hosted 2005 Champions League Final between Milan and Liverpool.
 
The final proposals will have to be delivered UEFA by 1 March 2018. UEFA Executive Committe is going to announce the stadium that will host for 2020 UEFA Champions League on June 2018.
 
UEFA EURO 2024 candidate Turkey who get attention by stadium investments in recent years, will host 2019 UEFA Super Cup with the stadium of Beşiktaş.
