Turkish Football Federation President Mehmet Büyükekşi, Hungary Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, UEFA President Aleksander Čeferin, Hungary Football Federation President Sándor Csányi and Hungarian National Assembly President László Kövér watched the friendly match between Hungary and Turkey played at Puskás Aréna in Budapest together from the stands.

Büyükekşi, Orbán, Čeferin, Csányi and Kövér made evaluations about EURO 2024 and the relations between Türkiye and Hungary.

TFF President Mehmet Büyükekşi underlined that they played a very efficient friendly match and said, "I would like to thank Hungary Prime Minister Mr. Viktor Orbán, who hosted our National Football Team and our Federation very well, and Hungary Football Federation President Mr. Sandor Csányi, for their hospitality. There are extremely close relations between our countries. We played a very efficient friendly match within the scope of preparations for EURO 2024. We will continue to play friendly matches against serious rivals such as Austria, Italy and Poland."

TFF President Mehmet Büyükekşi stated that he was happy to meet again with UEFA President Aleksander Čeferin after Istanbul.
