Share |
Our national team player Merih Demiral has been selected as one of 40 players worldwide accepted into FIFA Players Executive Programme, organized by Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA). The 27-year-old international becomes the first participant from Türkiye to be accepted into the program, making our country proud.

FIFA Players Executive Programme aims to enhance players' competencies off the pitch and prepare them for senior-level roles in football management.

In this newly launched FIFA programme, participants will receive training through online sessions and will attend two in-person meetings at FIFA's headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland. This inaugural edition of the programme features world-renowned players such as David Luiz, Casemiro, Rodrigo de Paul, Javi Martínez, and Jamie Vardy.

Speaking to tff.org about his acceptance into FIFA Players Executive Programme, Merih Demiral said: "I'm extremely happy to have been accepted into the program after successfully completing the preliminary interviews with the FIFA committee. I believe I might be the youngest player to be admitted. Regardless of your age, it's important to think about and plan for your life after your playing career. I find it very valuable that this programme offers me the opportunity to develop myself in aspects of football beyond the pitch and to exchange ideas with colleagues from different continents."
