The International Kuşadası Cup, organized by TFF, has started with the first day matches of the groups. In the first day of the tournament which is organized between 7-12 March 2011 with the participation of the players from U16 category, Rep. of Ireland drew against Azerbaijan 1-1 in Group A. Rep. of Ireland's goal came from Gary O'Neill (Min.61) while, Orxhan Aliyev (Min.4) hit the target for Azerbaijan.

In the day's other match of Group B, Western Squad of Turkey beat European Squad of Turkey 7-0. West Squad's goals came from Süleyman Alagöz (Min.8, 15, 42), M. Fatih Aydın (Min.37), Mutafa Sevim (Min.65), Hüsamettin Yener (Min.67, 71).

In Group B, Georgia defeated FYROM 3-0 and David Jikia (Min.5), Ilia Kerdzevadze (Min.14), Aleko Mzevashvili (Min.40) hit the target for Georgia. In the day's other match of Group B, İstanbul Squad of Turkey was beaten by Eastern Squad of Turkey 2-0 and Ömer Onay (Min.25), Abdullah Berkay (Min.30) scored the goals of Eastern Squad.

The International Kuşadası Cup is organized to create more player selection choices for Turkey U16 National Team and the clubs.
